Warwickshire
Set within a peaceful Warwickshire village, this modern home approached by a generous tree-lined drive sits elegantly within its own large natural landscape. The gardens were the main passion of the clients, and they wanted the interiors to celebrate these uninterrupted views and weave a constant connection to nature throughout the home.
The brief was to merge these biophilic expressions and love of nature into a vast modernist interior whilst building a space befitting of the architecture and yet still be inviting and practical for all two & four-legged members of the household.
With minimal structural intervention, the design centered on redefining the main ground-floor living spaces. Each area was given its own identity and purpose, ensuring the vast scale of the home never tipped into feeling soulless and impersonal.
The design concentrated on key elements to cultivate intimacy and warmth to the spaces. The sculptural Sense sofas by Roche Bobois soften the architectural lines and create a central, inviting space for gathering, their organic form appreciated from every perspective. The lower library area, connected through carefully curated hues, is positioned to capture the most serene garden views—a contemplative retreat with bespoke built-in bookcases. This palette then flows seamlessly into the pool and bar areas, continuing the visual narrative.
The expansive kitchen and dining space were reimagined as both highly functional and beautifully sculptural. Architectural references from the home reappear in the statement island, integrated herb gardens, and a stone-clad butcher’s block, all complemented by Leicht cabinetry and luxury Gaggenau appliances. Two distinct zones were formed: a dedicated chef’s area and a versatile breakfast station that transforms effortlessly when entertaining.
By layering textured finishes and upholstery within a restrained tonal palette, the interiors now exude warmth, comfort, and quiet luxury, providing a harmonious backdrop to the clients’ lifestyle and a seamless extension of the gardens beyond
Sutton Coldfield
Nestled in the heart of the Royal Town of Sutton Coldfield, the medical clinic occupies the first floor of a Grade II* listed building, an architectural jewel built circa 1680 by Sir William Wilson as his personal Palladian show house. With its rich historical character and beautifully preserved features, the building provided an inspiring backdrop for creating a private clinic that feels both contemporary and deeply connected to its heritage.
Our brief was to craft an interior that places patients at the centre, a space where they feel heard, supported, and confidently cared for. The design needed to communicate professionalism and trust while fostering an atmosphere of calm and tranquillity.
The project focused on celebrating the building’s finest architectural qualities, pairing them with a carefully curated palette of materials, textures, and tonal colours. Thoughtful layering and considered specification of furniture, fixtures, and equipment helped create depth and cohesion throughout the scheme.
The result is a clinic that harmoniously blends heritage with modern functionality, offering patients a serene, welcoming environment that honours the charm and history of the original building
